also if you’re looking for new rap and didn’t like Yeezus, try Born Sinner by J. Cole

The thing about Yeezus is it’s impossible to think about and talk about objectively without putting it in the context of Kanye’s other stuff and his life and exploits and media attitude, etc

And I kinda feel if this was anyone else, or Kanye’s first album, it wouldn’t be liked as kindly

I feel I should counteract that last post by saying I really enjoyed Yeezus and love the direction and style Kanye’s going in

And just the sheer fact he’s not afraid to do whatever he wants and experiment (perfectly summed up by the “how much do I not give a fuck?” bit on the first track On Sight)

I think some of the stupid lines on it are fun and he’s probably just trying to be provocative for the sake of it and I think you should still listen to Yeezus

OK I really love Yeezus it’s a fun listen I like it a lot don’t get me wrong

can we just talk about some of the lyrics
